Strengthening the Nonprofit Sector

Friday Briefs is an informal monthly opportunity for nonprofit peer discussion and learning. Generally offered the third Friday of the month from 9am – 11am, it is free.

The Foundation currently has an e-mail list of more than 180 area nonprofit organizations. This list is used to distribute appropriate announcements, informational materials, and opportunities. The list is not sold, or made available to others.

Workshops are offered by the Foundation that are focused on basic nonprofit management. Basic Board Development is offered annually, in conjunction with the Bremer Bank. Others are offered upon request.

The Foundation, in partnership with West Acres Shopping Center, sponsors an annual Nonprofit Day at West Acres Shopping Center in October, which is enhanced by an insert in The Fargo Forum focused on the nonprofit sector.
