Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre Receives Grant for Lobby Lighting Upgrade

The Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre provides theatrical and educational opportunities to engage and enrich the greater community.

The grant was used to help The Stage at Island Park, home of the Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre, upgrade its outdated lobby lighting system to a more energy efficient system, creating an aesthetically and culturally pleasing space for patrons, artists and renters who frequent the space. 

An organization, who hosts an event for 300 people each year, rented The Stage at Island Park, but felt they would need to bring in additional lighting to the lobby space. Upon completion of the lobby lighting project, the renter was thrilled with the abundance of lighting and felt it completely transformed the space. The Stage at Island Park has received many comments on how the space feels larger and is easier to move around. “We are thrilled with the updated lighting and the lower electrical cost with the new LED lighting,” said Eloise Breikjern, Executive Director.
