Haley’s Hope, Inc. Receives Grant for Advancing Curriculum with Differentiated Study Skills

Haley’s Hope is a nonprofit dedicated to guiding individuals affected by dyslexia through a comprehensive approach of screening, early intervention, education and advocacy.

After returning from training at Landmark in Massachusetts, Haley’s Hope implemented the Master Notebook program with two students who have had significant struggles with time and material organization. They were both eager to learn how to use the system.

Seeing the results that came with being more organized has given them an overall better educational experience.

The grant allowed Haley’s Hope to equip their training room with audio visual equipment, which allows them to train several students at once with thorough visual and written explanations.

“It was very important to have the room equipped when we finished our training at Landmark so we could go right into classroom curriculum,” said Kathy Watt, Public Relations and Advertising Director.

The equipment includes a TV monitor, AV set up, large white boards, chairs and desks.
