The Fargo-Moorhead area has experienced tremendous growth in the past decade, bringing about many new opportunities and businesses to our region. However, many community members continue to face hardships like homelessness, finding quality, affordable childcare, treating mental health issues, or worrying about their next meal.
A recent study conducted by Wilder Research found there are 591 homeless adults, youth and children in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Many local nonprofits are providing assistance and support to those in need. Our goal is support them through our Basic Human Needs grant round.
More than $5.6 million given in the last 10 years to support organizations focused on building ladders out of poverty.
These are just a few examples of how our generous donor’s gifts are being put to work in the community through our grantees.
