  • TEDxFargo 2017

    Organization:TEDxFargo Date: Jul. 27, 2017 Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location:Fargo Civic Center

For TEDxFargo 2017, the Fargo Civic Center and downtown Fargo will be our playground for the day. We are excited to start the day with morning adventures throughout the community. Inside, you'll find a world-class event with opportunities to experience locally roasted coffee, an infusion of arts, and speakers sharing ideas worth spreading. For lunch, local growers and chefs will delight you with a fresh, hand-crafted meal to be shared with friends old and new. After a full day of ideas and experiences, we invite you to continue exploring our community and thinking about how to move those ideas to action. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxFargo, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxFargo event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
