The FM Area Foundation is pleased to announce that Chris Barta has joined its Board of Directors.
Chris Barta is the Senior Director of Operations for Marvin, responsible for leading the 1,600 people and five window and door manufacturing facilities in Fargo and West Fargo.
Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and master’s degree in Business Administration, both from NDSU. Chris started his career with Marvin in 1992 as a Manufacturing Engineer in the company’s facility in Ripley, TN. In 1996 he moved back to Fargo and has held a variety of technical and leadership positions throughout his career that led him to his current role.
In 2020 Chris was the United Way volunteer campaign chair. Chris and his wife, Hope, live in West Fargo. They enjoy spending time at the lake with their daughters.
