The FM Area Foundation is inviting community members, nonprofit partners, donors and professional advisors to join a special Summer Celebration on Tuesday, Aug. 11, as the Foundation marks a significant milestone: more than $100 million in grants awarded to charitable causes throughout Cass and Clay counties.
For more than 65 years, the FM Area Foundation has connected the generosity of individuals, families and businesses with the organizations and causes that strengthen our region. Reaching $100 million in grants reflects decades of community investment and the collective impact of thousands of charitable gifts made through the Foundation.
“This milestone belongs to our entire community,” said Eric Wilkie, Executive Director. “Every grant represents someone choosing to invest in a stronger future for our region. Together, donors, nonprofit organizations and community partners have made an incredible difference in the lives of people across Cass and Clay counties.”
The celebration will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the FM Area Foundation, 409 7th St. S, Fargo, with a brief program beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Guests will enjoy refreshments from Sanctuary Events Center, Brew Catering & Events and Duchessa Gelato, along with live music by Spurlin.
Whether you’ve established a charitable fund, received a grant, volunteered with a local nonprofit or simply care about the future of our community, you’re invited to celebrate this milestone with us.
The event is free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate the generosity that has helped shape our community and look ahead to the next $100 million in impact.
