The FM Area Foundation is pleased to partner with the Fargo Rotary Club to reintroduce the beloved Dolly Parton Imagination Library to the 58102 Fargo neighborhood, with hopes of expanding to other areas in the future. This initiative aims to provide free books to children from birth to age five, fostering a love for reading and literacy from an early age.
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library, known for its impactful contributions to childhood literacy nationwide, will now be accessible to families in Fargo thanks to the fiscal sponsorship provided by the FM Area Foundation. This sponsorship will enable the Fargo Rotary Club to cover administrative costs and ensure the program’s sustainability.
“We are thrilled to support the Fargo Rotary Club in bringing back the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to Fargo,” said Eric Wilkie, Executive Director of the FM Area Foundation. “This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to enhance the quality of life for all in the community, starting with our youngest members.”
Travis Christopher, an Active Member of the Fargo Rotary Club, expressed gratitude for the partnership: “Thanks to the FM Area Foundation, we are able to bring this program back to Fargo! The demand over the first week has been enormous, with nearly 150 kids signed up in north Fargo.”
